"My life goes on in endless song above earth's lamentations, I hear the real, tdonnahough far off hymn that hails a new creation. Through all the tumult and the strife I hear its music ringing, It sounds an echo in my soul, How can I keep from singing?"

Music is a powerful force in our world. Like electricity, we do not understand it but are drawn to it and seek to surround ourselves with it. Most of us have music in our homes, in our cars, while we shop; the list goes on and on...

At Grace Church, we have been very blessed to be able to use music and to come together through it. It is a wonderful medium, because it can be all inclusive and serve as a reflection of our highest hopes and our noblest thoughts. Songs of courage, song of faith and hope, songs of sheer joy for the beauty, the mystery, and the wonders of this life are all forms of prayer, and a prayer that becomes constant when "that song keeps going 'round in my head!"

Truly, there is no sound that is not a part of God's great symphony, and we at Grace strive to rechoircognize the beauty in all of God's diversity. This attitude of loving acceptance gives people the space for the joyful sharing of their talents. Consequently, we at Grace enjoy the timeless music of the masters, original compositions, a host of really talented and sincere singers and instrumentalists, cello, drums, trombone, violin, bells, recorders, organ, piano, synthesizer, Glockenspiel, soloists, children's choir, and an enthusiastic congregation of singers. It is all of us together, all ages and all styles.

It is the blending of the old and the new. It is unity, respect, sincerity, gratitude and joy. It is worship. All are welcome. "Yes, on through life's long path, still chanting as ye go from youth to age, by night and day, in gladness and in woe Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice, give thanks and Sing!"
